AMStyle Interiors by Alberta McLeod–Stringham has created inviting home interiors across Canada, the US and Europe. Working with refined properties Alberta showcases a broad range of styles from ski chalets to lake cottages and stately Regent’s Park homes. Her approach brings an inviting modern eye to living and awakens each property while enhancing the best qualities of contemporary and period architecture.    

The best design involves a guiding vision and the contributions of a team. Over the years Alberta has worked with a wide range of architects and craftsman—bringing all aspects together into an exciting design process. Inspiration, creativity and attention to detail are the elements a design concept needs to achieve brilliance.

Biography

Alberta holds a BI.D. from the New York School of Interior Design and holds a B.A., B.Ed. from the University of Manitoba. Prior to founding ‘AM Style’  Alberta’s career accomplishments span media and communications including the founding of Infogroup Inc., a full-service market research firm serving Canada and the US. She was the Media and Research Director at Stringham and Grant Tandy Advertising and was Vice-President of Operations at Angus Reid Market Research with offices in Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

She has a life-long involvement in children’s welfare as a counsellor for incarcerated youth with the Manitoba Youth Center as well as a counsellor for the Mother’s Allowance. Alberta currently chairs the Advisory Board for War Child USA, an international relief organization that provides, education, opportunity and justice for children caught in conflict zones of war torn regions.
